Welcome to the Migraine without Aura Forum

I can’t believe there aren’t any posts here. I have migraine w/o aura that has just been reassigned a new diagnosis on the doctor’s sheet – migraine w/o auro intractable migraine. In other words I have chronic migraine and have had it for at least 10 years although my migraines started about 15 years ago.I’m kind of guessing on when they became chronic but it was somewhere around that time. I’ve taken every preventative once if not 2 or 3 times, just to give them another chance. I’ve been married for 25 years. I have 2 daughters, one is almost 20 and the other is 23. Sad thing, they don’t remember me without having headaches. My husband is supportive, he loves me, he doesn’t like to see me in pain, nor does he like to see me all drugged up. We have very honest conversations and sometimes I don’t like what I hear but at least he’s honest. Well, as most of you know….MIGRAINES SUCK!

I have chronic migraines without auro also. Have taken lots of different preventives, but none have worked completely. For some reason I’ve not had one for the past two days! YIPPEE!! I’ve never married because guys didn’t want to be involved with somebody always running off to bed with a migraine.
